Embellish your hands with fake nails

Artificial or acrylic nails, as they are called, have been in the beauty industry for long but it's only now that they are being accepted by all. The best thing about them is that you can shape them the way you want - in any length or colour.

And if you have always wanted to embellish your nails with piercings, but did not have the nerve to get it done, then you can try piercing your artificial nails without touching your nails.

What are acrylic nails?
These are nail enhancements that come in various forms like press-on nails, nail-tips and sculpted nails. They were developed in the early '70s as pieces of plastic that were glued on the nails. With the advent of technology, more natural-looking nail enhancements have been developed which go well with the real nail.

But while these nail extensions beautify your hands, wearing them and then taking care of them needs a lot of attention. First and foremost, you need to clean your nails and push back the cuticle. Trim your nails but don't cut them too short, in case you have a snag with the fake nails - they might tear away a part of the real ones. Put some glue on your nails and drop the acrylic nails quickly.

If the nail does not fit properly, file it or soak your fingers in the nail solution provided and take it off. Repeat the process. Once you are done with that dab on some nail oil. This has to be done atleast once a day.

Remember not to put pressure on your extensions and avoid using washing powder or other chemicals while wearing acrylic nails.

How to add RSS feed in your Blog

Blogger.com is a popular blogging site that provides not only the storage space and bandwidth for a blog, but also a number of tools that can make a blog more effective. One important blog capability is the ability to automatically display new entries from other blogs. Also called "Really Simple Syndication," or RSS. You can add this capability easily to a Blogger.com blog.

Intructions to do:

  • Log into your Blogger.com account. This will take you to your Blogger Dashboard, which is a list of all of your blogs on the site along with controls for customizing them.
  • Select "Layout" for your desired blog. The "Layout" tab will be displayed, providing a graphical representation of your blog, including the area where blog posts appear and areas where you can add customized elements.
  • Click on "Add a Page Element." Another window will open with a list of elements that you can add to your blog. Select "Add to Blog" underneath the "Feed" element, which opens a "Configure Feed" dialog box.
  • Open your blog site on a different browser...scroll to the bottom of ur blog there you shall find "Post: Atom" most of the time u find this. Click on this a different window shall open with the feed URL. Select this link and copy it to the clipboard.
  • Paste the RSS link URL into the "Feed URL" box of the Blogger "Configure Feed" dialog. Select "Continue." If you make a mistake, click "Cancel" and start again.
  • Save your changes. After clicking on "Continue," a dialog box will open showing the title of the blog feed you are publishing, an option to select how many items you wish to display, and check boxes to show "Item dates" and "Item sources/authors." Make your selections, review how the feed will look on your blog, and select "Save Changes" when satisfied.

  • Place your new feed. The feed you just added will show up as the top item in your list of side page elements. Left-click, hold, and drag the feed element to move it to a different slot on the side, or to the top or bottom section of your blog. When satisfied, click on "Save." Then click "Preview" to see how your new feed appears. Use "Clear Edits" to undo the changes and start over.

Important points to increase traffic on Blog

1) Blog Regularly :If you’re going to be a successful blogger, one important point to keep in mind is that you should update your blog regularly. By regular, I simply mean that you should define a schedule and STICK to that schedule. Do NOT wander off that schedule, ever.

But, that’s difficult, right? Why?

The major reason why people tend to lose interest midway through their blogging is because they start out wrongly. They decided to blog about something that was not really their point of interest. So, primary rule to success is – Blog about what you love!

Concentrate on the below listed points

  • Make your Readers your Loyal Readers: The idea is pretty simple. When you plan and stick to a schedule, your readers get used to that schedule. Eventually, they don’t have to rely on the blog feeds either. As long as they are well aware of your posting schedule, they’ll generally visit your blog themselves on days when they expect you to update the blog. Finding fresh content gives them a reason to keep coming back!

  • You Lose Traffic When You Deviate: Consider the point above. When loyal readers re-visit your blog, they do so with the expectation of reading something new. If you regularly SKIP your scheduled posting times and neglect the entire blogging area, then these visitors will gradually get disappointed. They won’t be able to keep track of your blog updates and quite a few might simply stop visiting you. This generally leads to a decline in traffic (and a sharp decline, mind that) which is the last thing you want if you’re aiming to be a successful blogger.
  • Regular Updates = Higher Search Engine Positions:Obviously, Search engines want content. They love content. Everytime they visit your blog, they’ll scrape it for new content. If they find it, they index it. And when they index it, you have more pages indexed in a particular search engine. That, in turn, means you have more chances of people visiting your blog when they’re searching for something, as with the addition of each new blog post, you basically widen the scope of topics you cover. And the more pages and quality posts you have indexed, you get more authority in the search engines. Anyone who has a basic idea of success, would not disagree with this post!

  • Regular Updates Get You More Backlinks: Don’t forget that quite a few of your readers are also bloggers(in most of the niches). And when you regularly update your blog, every once in a while they’ll like something you posted and link back to you from their own blogs. What does this offer you? Free backlinks! Who would not want free backlinks? All it takes is some time to stay true to your schedule and you get so many benefits without having to actually work hard for them.
Conclusion
There’s countless advantages of regularly updating your blog. More traffic (which leads to more revenue), more exposure, you establish yourself as a professional in your blogging niche, etc. Of course, it all requires you to stick to your schedule. And if you’re short on time, then plan a schedule that does not require too much time, but can still effectively keep your blog fresh!

Are you able to stick to your schedule? If not, what makes that thing does not happen?

2) Add the blog to blog search engines: There are dozens of blog search engines out there and more being added everyday. Create a good, concise description for your blog, as well as relevant keywords. I have upload a list of free search engine directory.

Unless you actually have people viewing your blog it is very difficult to actually earn anything from it.

So how do you drive traffic to your blog?

The only option is SEO (search engine optimization)

When you are looking online for information on a topic where do you go first?
While I’m sure there will be a variety of answers given to that question – the majority of average web users would answer with one word – ‘Google’.

Every day Search Engines like Google send many millions of web users to websites in their index. While there are plenty of Web 2.0 web indexing services around that are increasing in popularity – the fact is that search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN are still the biggest source of traffic to websites on the web.

Keyword Rich Content – identify a few keywords for your article that you’re hoping will get indexed highly by Google. Don’t pick too many but consider the questions

  • How do I want people to find this post in Search Engines?

  • What will they type into Google if they want information on the topic you’re writing?
These keywords will need to be the most common words used in your article. Use them in some or all of the following ways:

  • Keywords in post and page titles (read my post on using keywords in titles)
  • Keywords in URL of page (blog herald wrote on this a while back)
  • Keywords in outbound links. Of course you should always link to sources of content as an ethical consideration but the bonus of this is that many SEO experts think that linking to relevant and quality sites on the same topic of your post with good keywords can also add credibility to YOUR post also.
  • Keywords in bold tags (try do it at least once)

  • Keywords in heading tags (there is debate over exactly how to use them but it’s generally accepted that h1 tags are important and that h2, h3, h4 etc tags also have an impact. Having said that I’ve seen some pages rank very well in search engines without using heading tags. There are many tutorials online about heading tags – here’s one.)

  • Keywords in imge alt tags (here’s how)
  • Keywords in the general throughout the text of your post – but especially early on in the first few sentence

3) To add yourself to directories: To start with first register yourself to these directories of Google, Yahoo, MSN. This will give ur blog a lot of popularity. Another way to generating traffic is to submit your links to small directories. I know of webmasters who swear by the benefits of such a strategy – the first thing that they do when starting a new site is to do the rounds of directories – submitting links to key pages with appropriate keywords in the links. There are loads of directories out there – many of which offer a free submission.
Please go through the list...click here. Get urself registered today...you will see an enormous increase in the traffic rate.
  • Increasingly bloggers are starting or joining blog networks to enjoy the benefits of multiple sites and writers working together. One of the advantages of networks of sites is that they usually link to one another. In doing so you have complete control over how your sites are linked to from multiple domains. It is worth noting that you should be careful with this approach – if all your sites are hosted on the one server many think that Search Engines will work out what you’re doing and the impact will be lessened.
4) Commenting on other blogs: Most of the time many bloggers visit different blogs but they come out of the page without commenting on it. The more you invite commenting the more you het comments and also you make a good social network and communities. I have highligthted the word invite commenting which is certainly very important. Ask Questions Include questions in your post definately helps get higher number of comments. Be open ended do not say everything in one topic, be an expert and keep a question open the readers mind so that they can question you on that. Interact with comments left  do reply on the comments that you get, do not leave it unanswered, write back questions to them, ask their opinion make it a lively interaction so that it gives out knowledge for other readers too.

Be gracious – Related to humility is grace. There are times where you as the blogger will get something wrong in your posts. It might be spelling or grammar, it could be the crux of your argument or some other aspect of your blogging. When a someone leaves a comment that shows your failing it’s very easy to respond harshly in a defensive manner. We’ve all seen the flaming that can ensue. While it’s not easy – a graceful approach to comments where you admit where you are wrong and others is right can bring out the lurkers and make them feel a little safer in leaving comments.

Make money from Blog

Instructions.Things You'll need once you have ablog:

1) Blog regularly. The more you post, the better chance you have to reach a wider variety of readers.

2) Add the blog to blog search engines. There are dozens of blog search engines out there and more being added everyday. Create a good, concise description for your blog, as well as relevant keywords. I shall soon upload a list of free search engine directory.
3) Add the blog to toplists. Put the link to the toplist on your blog: every time someone hits the link, your blog moves up in the ranks.

4) Write comments on other people's blogs. People are always grateful for a comment. More often than not, they'll click on your link and return the favor.

5) Comment on people's comments. A blog is meant to be a community. Respond directly to people's comments-either in the comments or in a new blog post. This will engage readers so they'll come back more often. I will upload a list of communities for reference.
6) Post on forums. If you write a niche blog, post answers to questions on forums-be sure to put your blog address in your signature. Don't spam forums-make sure your posts are relevant.
7) Write to other bloggers suggesting a link trade. Put up a link list of your favorite blogs and let those bloggers know about it. They might just reciprocate.

HTML Parsing error

Like me there might be many bloggers who are facing difficulty with HTML Parsing error. Wherein visitors are unable to view the page due to HTML Parsing error.

Which looks like this

"HTML Parsing Error: Unable to modify the parent container element before the child element is closed (KB927917). Line/Char/Code 0"

I read hundreds of sites for solution but could not find any...everywhere it states...change these codes..change that code..Honestly speaking I am a person who is not much aware of HTML codes...for a day I thought I have lost on everything...then I said to myself..I have to cross this. This problem mostly occurs in bloggers specially if they are using CUTESTOFBLOG.COM.

The simple solution is
thecutestblogontheblock.com normally inserts the code in the sidebar, in an Html gadget. You will not see the code while looking at the template code.
Dashboard/customize > Layout > Page Elements.
In the sidebar,
When you find an Html gadget, edit it and look for the thecutestblogontheblock.com address. It will appear at least once for the logo.
After you identify the gadget, click the Remove button and the background will be gone.

If you can't find it, provide a blog address and I'll tell you where it is.

Once this is removed then try your blog...for sure Parsing error might have gone...

SECOND Solution: Just go and change ur template. Believe me this saved my life..it will save yours too.
